Beckham's contract worth £128million comes to an end in 2011, but he said no decision has yet to be made on whether he will stay in America or return back to England for a swansong finale to his glittering career.
After training with Tottenham in the MLS off-season, speculation was mounting on whether or not he could be lured back to the Premier League on a short-term deal.
A host of different clubs have been linked to the 35-year-old including, Spurs and Arsenal as well as current Championship front runners Queens Park Rangers.
With Formula One firebrand Bernie Ecclestone involved at Loftus Road anything is possible, and a move to London for Beckham could be well timed to coincide with an appearance for Great Britain at the Olympics.
'It's (the London Olympics) something that I'd like to be involved in, and I'd like to be involved in as a player,' Beckham said.
'But we'll have to wait and see. That's a year away yet. So we'll see. I'll enjoy the rest of this (MLS) season first: we're only five games in.
'I haven't made any decision about what I'm going to do after this year.
'At the end of the day, I am 35 years old, I'll be 36 in May and I'm getting older, so I'll need to see how my body feels at the end of the season, and if I feel that I can perform and continue, then I will continue.
'In a few months I will think about what I want to do and decide. I still love the game like I did when I was 21 years old and I still feel fit. I look after myself.'
